Please note this is not a diagnostic tool.
If you are in crisis please call 9-1-1 or your nearest emergency medical team.
You don't need to know the right words or the right program. Just describe what you're dealing with and we'll do the searching for you.
It's overwhelming — we get it.
When you're already exhausted, trying to find the right resources and support systems is just one more obstacle.
We're trying to make it easy for you. Search with real words based on what is going on in the moment. Answer the question EVERYONE asks, "What do I say?"
Type or speak something like:
- My mom got diagnosed with dementia and I don't know where to start.
- I'm losing it!
- My son is non-verbal but loves to sing.
- How do I find therapy for my dad with Parkinson's?
- My wife thinks she can still drive and is upset when I tell her she can't.
- My grandpa is humming all night and day and his roommate is getting angry.
To be clear - this is not therapy and it's not a diagnostic tool.
It is simply a smart search tool that can help identify, collate and curate resources, services, organizations, and practical next steps that may be relevant to your situation and are publicly available — including immediate free resources like music and grounding tools for the caregiver in the moment.
There are wonderful social media personalities who are providing excellent advice and tips & tricks for interactions with a variety of populations. We like to include them in our referrals for you to benefit from what they have to offer. This community is continuously learning and growing and the tools are able to evolve with the rapidly changing needs of our care and caregiver populations.
Whether you're helping an aging parent, a child with complex needs, a spouse with an illness, or a family member living with a disability — or looking for resources for yourself — the Caregiver Support Network is designed to meet you where you are with immediate resources.
It might be respite care, financial assistance, therapeutic tools, home care services, emotional support, transportation, housing, or simply someone who understands what you're going through.
Our goal is simple: help caregivers spend less time searching and more time finding support.
